Alberto is also widely recognized as the younger brother of Fernando Mendoza, the reigning Heisman Trophy winner and the top pick in the 2026 NFL Draft, now playing for the Las Vegas Raiders. This transfer marks a new chapter for the young player, as he is scheduled to make his debut for Georgia Tech on Thursday against Colorado.
