An awkward encounter took place between former LSU teammates Angel Reese and Flau'jae Johnson after the Atlanta Dream fell to the Seattle Storm in the WNBA. Just before the final buzzer, Johnson was seen celebrating with her Storm teammates before approaching Reese for what appeared to be a handshake, but Reese walked past without acknowledging her former teammate.
The two had helped lead LSU to the 2023 national championship with a victory over Caitlin Clark's Iowa. Johnson looked visibly surprised by the apparent snub in the first WNBA meeting between the pair.
