Argentina fans boo England anthem during heated World Cup semifinal

Tensions rose before the World Cup semifinal as Argentina fans disrupted Englands national anthem with loud jeers. The visiting supporters, who outnumbered the English fans, sang chants to drown out God Save the King.

The atmosphere remained heated as whistles were heard during the Argentine anthem as well.
