Bison Throws Tourist 2.5 Metres in Air at Yellowstone

On Sunday, July 12, a tourist was violently attacked by a bison in Yellowstone National Park, United States. While two visitors were photographing the animal, it turned and charged, hurling one of them roughly 2.

5 metres into the air. The victim suffered serious injuries and required immediate medical attention.

Bison can run up to 55 km/h when threatened, underscoring the need for caution around wildlife in the park.
