Buffalo Sabres trade Devon Levi to Edmonton Oilers

The Buffalo Sabres have moved goaltender Devon Levi to the Edmonton Oilers in exchange for a third-round draft pick. The 24-year-old netminder spent the entire previous season playing in the AHL.

Levi was once considered the goalie of the future for Buffalo but struggled to secure a roster spot. Edmonton acquires the young talent to add depth to their organization.
