Cadillac's 16-year-old driver Gilberto Mora rises in F1 program

Sixteen‑year‑old American talent Gilberto Mora joined Cadillac’s Formula 1 simulator initiative aimed at building a pipeline of future drivers. He first entered the program at 14 after a personal invitation from Matt Borland, the head of Cadillac’s motorsport division, and was introduced to his father Greg Price, GM Motorsports’ design manager.

In the simulator, Mora gathers data and runs test sessions that support the development of the cars driven by Sergio Pérez and Valtteri Bottas. The project seeks to accelerate the transition of young prospects into top‑level racing.
