Capitals Acquire Jordan Kyrou from Blues, Trade McMichael and No.16 Pick

The Capitals added Jordan Kyrou from the St. Louis Blues to boost their offensive depth.

In return, St. Louis received forward Connor McMichael, defense prospect Milton Gastrin and the 16th overall pick in the 2026 NHL Draft.

Kyrou’s two‑way play and puck‑handling skills are expected to enhance the Capitals’ scoring options, while McMichael and Gastrin provide the Blues with youthful energy and future potential.
