Castellón has added experienced right‑back Juanjo Nieto to its roster on a free transfer after two seasons in Slovenia. The 31‑year‑old, a product of the club’s own academy, previously featured for Valladolid B, Atlético Baleares, Mallorca B, Hércules, Oviedo, Almería and Huesca before his recent stint abroad.
Following Brian Cipenga’s move to Almería, the signing aims to shore up the defensive line and provide stability at right‑back. Nieto is expected to make his debut in the opening fixtures of the upcoming season.
