Chicago Sky beats Los Angeles Sparks 96-82, Ogwumike sets franchise record

Playing at home, Chicago Sky opened strong with 24 points in the first quarter and applied pressure on the Sparks’ defense. Nneka Ogwumike contributed four threes and 19 points, surpassing the franchise scoring mark.

The Sparks attempted a comeback in the second quarter but turnovers and defensive lapses widened the gap. The Sky closed the game with a 96‑82 victory.
