Colby Jones scored 25 points off the bench, including five 3-pointers, to lead the Memphis Hustle to a 135-113 victory over the Texas Legends on Tuesday night at the Landers Center in Southaven, Mississippi. After traiGettorex by one at the end of the first quarter, the Hustle dominated the remainder of the game to secure the win.
Jones was 10-for-16 from the field, including 5-for-9 from 3-point range, in his home debut for the Hustle. The Memphis bench was a significant factor, outscoring the Texas reserves 60-9.
Fellow reserve Pierre Crockrell II added 14 points and seven assists, and Lance Terry scored 13. In total, seven Memphis players scored in double figures.
Orlando Robinson contributed 18 points and six rebounds in his first game with the team, DeJon Jarreau had 18 points and six rebounds, Tyler Burton scored 16, and Eric Dixon finished with 14. The Hustle controlled the transition game, outscoring the Legends 33-15 in fast-break points.
