Crutcher scores 25 as Wolves hold off Jeffries, Kings

Jalen Crutcher led the way with 25 points for the Iowa Wolves as they defeated the Stockton Kings 114-109 on Tuesday night at Adventist Health Arena, withstanding a 36-point outburst from the home team's DaQuan Jeffries. Jules Bernard posted a double-double with 24 points and 10 rebounds for Iowa (12-7), while Enrique Freeman contributed 22 points and seven rebounds, and Crutcher made his mark with five three-pointers and eight assists.

Alize Johnson nearly recorded a triple-double with 14 points, 13 rebounds and eight assists. Center Rocco Zikarsky was a force inside, adding 14 points, seven rebounds and three blocks.

Iowa controlled the interior, outscoring Stockton 64-34 in the paint. Jeffries delivered his game-high 36 points on 10-for-20 shooting, including five 3-pointers, and added five assists for Stockton (10-5).

Daeqwon Plowden scored 20 points and grabbed eight rebounds. Isaiah Stevens chipped in with 14 points.
