Cruz Azul, the reigning Liga MX champion, will host its Apertura 2026 home fixtures at the historic Estadio Azteca after a protracted stadium saga. Initial plans to use Ciudad de los Deportes or relocate to Querétaro were abandoned in favor of the capital’s iconic venue.
