Daly and Palou top 228 mph on second day of Indy 500 practice

Conor Daly and Álex Palou posted the fastest laps above 228 mph on the second day of Indianapolis 500 practice at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Taking advantage of cool, overcast conditions, drivers ran in packs and created long, snaking lines through the two long straightaways, offering a preview of potential race-day action.

Daly recorded the best lap of the day at 228. 080 mph, with Palou just a fraction behind at 228.
