Eric Dixon scored a career-high 34 points to lead the Memphis Hustle to a 117-97 victory over the Wisconsin Herd on Thursday night at the Landers Center Southaven in Mississippi. The win ended a four-game losing streak for the Hustle, who led wire to wire.
Dixon, who also tied a career high with 10 rebounds, was one of three Hustle players to record a double-double. Lawson Lovering posted a career-high 16 points along with 13 rebounds, and Charlie Brown Jr.
contributed 14 points, 13 rebounds, and a team-high-tying seven assists. All five starters for the Memphis Hustle (5-19) scored in double figures, with Tyler Burton adding 20 points, including four 3-pointers, and DeJon Jarreau chipping in 11 points and seven assists.
Mark Sears led the Herd (7-18) with 25 points and five assists. The defeat was the ninth consecutive for the Herd, who remain winless in February.
