Egypt's 2.35m Center Abouelrish Suffers Defeat Against Mali

Standing at 2. 35 meters, the world's tallest active basketball player Hamad Abouelrish returned to the Egyptian national team.

Egypt faced Mali in the 2027 World Cup qualifiers but suffered a 78-70 defeat, putting them in a difficult position. Coached by Agustí Julbe, the team currently sits third in the group with one win and three losses.

They will face critical matches against Angola and Uganda in the upcoming rounds.
