El Jaleo Wins Class at Round the Island Race

The J99 yacht El Jaleo, skippered by Gonzalo Chávarri, claimed victory in the IRC 2A class at the Round the Island Race. The team completed the 50-nautical-mile course around the Isle of Wight in 8 hours and 45 minutes.

This event saw nearly 800 boats competing in one of the world's largest sailing races.
