During the TFF 3. Lig Group 4 Week 12 match between Eskişehirspor and Karşıyaka, Es-Es fans honored the memory of 27-year-old Eskişehir-born martyr Aircraft Maintenance Senior Lieutenant Emre Mercan, who was among the 20 martyrs killed when a military cargo plane crashed in Georgia.
Fans displayed banners before and throughout the match to pay their respects. Emre Mercan's memory continues to live on in the hearts of the Eskişehirspor community.
