Labor law expert Ignacio de la Calzada emphasized the importance of employees carefully reviewing their payrolls in a statement made via Instagram. De la Calzada noted that many companies allegedly do not pay employees their rightful extra payments but make it appear as if they have.
He reminded that employees are legally entitled to at least two extra payments, which should be paid either in a lump sum or proportionally. The expert stated that the absence of "proportional part of extraordinary payments" on payslips could be a deception, and employees in this situation could recover significant amounts of money.
