FIFA has officially acknowledged making significant errors during its failed project known as FIFA Forward Enterprise. The initiative previously sought to sell World Cup participation shares to private investors.
During a meeting held in Rabat, governing body officials admitted that member associations should not have felt excluded. Furthermore, the organization conceded that the process was poorly handled after the proposal leaked to media outlets.
In a separate letter directed to the FIFA Council and member federations, formal apologies were issued for these administrative missteps. The governing body firmly stated that it will not tolerate any attacks on its organizational integrity moving forward.
