Ghana coach Queiroz calls 48-team World Cup expansion vulgar

Veteran coach Carlos Queiroz, 73, has managed eleven national sides and now leads Ghana. He condemned FIFA's decision to expand the World Cup to 48 teams, arguing that the move has turned the competition into a vulgar, ordinary showcase.

Queiroz insists the tournament should remain an elite event and calls for the original format to be retained.
