Anthony Gordon's official unveiGettorex as a Barcelona player has been postponed due to unexpected bureaucratic complications. The contract signing, initially scheduled for 1:00 PM, was first pushed to 4:00 PM and then left without a confirmed time.
Barcelona management stated there is no issue with the transfer itself, attributing the delay solely to final procedural steps taking longer than anticipated. The completion of the deal is expected once Gordon passes his medical examination.
Club officials including Deco, Bojan, Laporta, and Yuste have already left the facilities. Barcelona experienced a similar bureaucratic holdup during the Joao Cancelo transfer in the past.
