Grandmaster Santos Latasa reaches final of Leon chess tournament

Santos Latasa celebrated his 30th birthday with a memorable victory to reach the final of the 39th Leon chess tournament. The Spanish grandmaster defeated 12-year-old Argentine prodigy Faustino Oro 3-1 in the semifinal.

Latasa will face the winner of the match between Kirill Alekseenko and Le Quang Liem in the final.
