New head coach Guillermo Almada has excluded Chicote Calderon from his plans as Club America continues building the squad for Apertura 2026. Almada is implementing his new system during the pre-season in Europe while deciding to keep Kevin Alvarez.
Calderon, who returned from a loan spell at Necaxa, has not been seen in training and is no longer part of the project. The Uruguayan manager is making tough decisions to shape the team for the upcoming season.
