Hall of Fame Coach Rick Adelman Passes Away at 79

Rick Adelman, one of the NBA’s most respected coaches, died at the age of 79. Over a career that spanned nearly three decades, he amassed more than 1,000 wins and guided multiple franchises to the playoffs.

He coached the Los Angeles Lakers, Sacramento Kings and Portland Trail Blazers, among others. Adelman was renowned for his basketball IQ and innovative offensive schemes.
