Hydra HM Hospitales seized the opportunity to complete a perfect season in the Mediterranean's major offshore regattas. The vessel, skippered by Óscar Chaves, won the 162-mile Offshore ORC A2 race between Valencia and Ibiza in a time of 30 hours, 44 minutes and 55 seconds.
This victory carries special significance, as the DK 46 from Real Club Náutico El Balís is now the only boat to have competed in and won all three major offshore races of the Mediterranean Circuit in the ORC A2 category. Chaves expressed immense pride after crossing the finish line, describing the regatta as a fantastic experience despite somewhat light wind conditions.
