The Jóvenes Construyendo el Futuro initiative has opened its June 2026 registration, offering 18‑29‑year‑old participants a twelve‑month apprenticeship with a monthly stipend and IMSS health insurance. Eligibility requires youths to be out of school and unemployed.
The stipend is set at approximately 4,000 pesos per month, and apprentices receive vocational training. The program aims to curb youth unemployment and develop job skills.
Authorities target reaching 500,000 participants in the first phase.
