Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Keenan Allen was taken into custody early Sunday morning in downtown Indianapolis. The 34-year-old veteran player faces preliminary charges related to driving while intoxicated.
The arrest occurred at approximately 1 a. m.
ET after officers from the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department conducted a traffic investigation in the 100 block of South Meridian Street. According to police reports, officers encountered a vehicle parked in a restricted no-parking zone and observed signs of intoxication during their interaction with Allen.
