LA Galaxy Blocks Casemiro Transfer to Inter Miami Over Discovery Rights

Inter Miami has secured a three‑year contract with Brazilian midfielder Casemiro. However, under MLS rules the discovery rights to the player belong to Los Angeles Galaxy.

The Galaxy is asking for a compensation between $700,000 and $1 million to release those rights. Until the dispute is resolved, the transfer cannot be officially confirmed.
