Mahomes Aims for Rapid Return After Torn Knee

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes is targeting a Week 1 debut in the 2026 NFL season despite tearing his ACL and LCL late in 2025. He underwent surgery in December 2025 and has already participated in organized team activities.

The aggressive rehab schedule, backed by his medical staff and personal drive, has accelerated his recovery. If all goes to plan, Mahomes could be back on the field at full strength.
