Málaga Increases Player Salaries and Release Clauses for New Season

Málaga has boosted player wages and raised release clauses following its promotion to La Liga. The standard clause has moved from €8 million to €12 million, while foreign players’ clauses can reach €16 million.

The club says the adjustments will help retain the squad and give it a stronger bargaining position in the upcoming campaign. It also reviewed its budget to stay competitive in the top flight.
