Mauro Icardi leaves Galatasaray after four titles and top scorer award

Mauro Icardi became Galatasaray’s all‑time highest‑scoring foreign player, contributing significantly to four league championships. In his second Turkish season he also secured the top scorer title, endearing himself to the fans.

At the end of the campaign Icardi announced his decision to seek a new challenge and confirmed his departure from the club.
