McIlroy admits mistakes cost him at The Open round one

Rory McIlroy admits that too many stupid mistakes prevented him from making a strong start to the Open Championship. His rollercoaster opening round of 72 left him seven shots off the pace.

The Northern Irishman is now looking to recover ground in the tournament.
