Mexico City Fan Fest hits capacity for Czech vs Mexico World Cup match

The FIFA Fan Fest in Mexico City’s Zócalo square accommodated up to 55,000 spectators with giant screens. As security checks and crowd density hit the venue’s capacity, officials closed entry points.

Fans were redirected to the Reforma site and other city locations with large screens. Some supporters chose nearby bars and restaurants to watch the match.
