Morten Hjulmand leaves Sporting for Atletico Madrid

Sporting CP captain Morten Hjulmand has transferred to Atletico Madrid after three seasons with the Portuguese club. The Danish midfielder, who moved for a fee of 40 million euros, bid farewell to the team.

Hjulmand stated that he won two league titles and one cup during his time there and mentioned he will one day tell his daughter he was the captain of Sporting.
