Neymar announces retirement from Brazil after World Cup exit

Neymar announced his retirement from the Brazilian national team after a 2-0 defeat to Norway in the World Cup round of 16. The forward ended his 16-year international career where it began at MetLife Stadium.

He leaves with 130 caps and 80 goals.
