Nuggets and Peyton Watson Contract Negotiations Hit Impasse

Contract negotiations between the Denver Nuggets and forward Peyton Watson have reportedly hit an impasse. The Nuggets are now facing a decision to match any offer sheet Watson receives or work out a sign-and-trade deal.

It is noted that only the Brooklyn Nets and Los Angeles Clippers currently have the salary cap space to sign Watson. The situation remains fluid as the offseason progresses.
