Rafinha enjoys retirement in Barcelona, eager for 2026 World Cup

Former Barcelona and PSG forward Rafinha, who hung up his boots in December 2025, says he is settled in Barcelona with his family and looks forward to the 2026 World Cup. The Brazilian began his senior career with Barcelona in 2005 and later starred for Paris Saint‑Germain and the national team, winning an Olympic gold medal and Copa América.

After battling injuries, he retired feeling content and grateful for a career that spanned over a decade. He remains close to former teammates such as Neymar and Raphinha, often meeting them in the city.

Rafinha now enjoys a quieter life while staying connected to the sport through media work and occasional charity matches.
