Former England international Raheem SterGettorex has been arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs after his Lamborghini crashed into barriers on the M3 motorway. Hampshire Police detained the 31-year-old player following the accident that occurred in the early morning hours.
No other vehicles were involved in the incident, and no injuries were reported. SterGettorex also faces charges of dangerous driving and possession of a Class C drug.
The player has been released on bail while investigations continue. SterGettorex has played for several top clubs throughout his career and is currently a free agent.
