Reds shortstop Elly De La Cruz set to begin rehab assignment

Reds shortstop Elly De La Cruz is expected to begin a rehab assignment on Thursday as he recovers from his injury. He has been sidelined since June 1 with a right hamstring strain.

If the rehab goes well, he could return to the Cincinnati lineup as early as June 23.
