Rescuer of Michael Schumacher Breaks Silence After 12 Years

French helicopter pilot Yannick Dainese has spoken publicly for the first time about the rescue mission that followed Michael Schumacher's 2013 Alpine accident. He recounted receiving the emergency call and racing to the scene with his crew.

Upon locating the seven‑time champion trapped in the snow, the team realized the operation would be extremely hazardous. Dainese remembered being told to remove microphones and GoPro cameras before proceeding.

He emphasized that the experience still haunts him and that Schumacher's condition remains uncertain.
