The Long Island Nets defeated the Maine Celtics 116-109 on Wednesday night at Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum. Ben Saraf had a game-high 32 points on 12-of-19 shooting for the victorious Nets (15-10).
He was one of seven Nets to score in double figures. Chaney Johnson provided 19 points, eight rebounds, three steals and two blocks.
Malachi Smith finished with 10 points, nine rebounds and nine assists. E.
J. Liddell contributed 13 points and nine rebounds, while Trevon Scott added 13 points off the bench.
