Sevilla FC condemns sentencing of striker Rafa Mir to 8.5 years

Sevilla FC announced an official statement after the Valencia High Court sentenced striker Rafa Mir to 8. 5 years in prison.

The club reminded that Mir is on loan at Elche and his contract runs until June 30, 2027. In the release, Sevilla stressed a zero‑tolerance stance toward any violence, abuse or sexual assault.

While respecting the judicial process, the club reaffirmed its commitment to the sport’s ethical standards.
