Shohei Ohtani Misses All‑Star Game Due to Knee Irritation

Shohei Ohtani, the Los Angeles Dodgers’ two‑way star, was removed from his scheduled start on Friday due to irritation in his left knee. Team physicians said swelling and discomfort require rest and treatment.

As a result, Ohtani will miss the All‑Star Game, forcing the Dodgers to adjust their pitching rotation. He added that once healed he intends to return strong for the remainder of the season.
