Spain Adds 13 Gold Medals at Banyoles European Multisport Championships

At the European Multisport Championships in Girona, Spain collected five gold, four silver and four bronze medals. The haul lifted the nation to 46 medals, placing it second behind Great Britain.

Events featured a standard duathlon of 10 km run, 37. 4 km bike (no drafting) and a final 5 km run.

The team will focus on recovery and training ahead of the next competition day.
