Sporting Gijon legend Jose Manuel Diaz Novoa dies

Sporting Gijon legend and former manager Jose Manuel Diaz Novoa has died at the age of 82. Diaz Novoa managed the most games in the club's history and led the team to the 1982 Copa del Rey final.

Under his guidance, Sporting also qualified for the UEFA Cup three times, cementing his status as a historic figure.
