Tevian Jones came off the South Bay Lakers' bench to score 24 points in a 128-116 win over the San Diego Clippers. The game was played at the UCLA Health Training Center, and the Lakers took the lead with a jumper by Jones with 8:49 left in the fourth quarter.
The Lakers pulled away in the final period, outscoring the Clippers 35-22 to secure the victory. Jones shot 15-of-10 and knocked down four three-pointers.
Anton Watson added 15 points, seven rebounds and six assists, while Drew Timme contributed 20 points and six rebounds. Bronny James also chipped in with 12 points and six assists off the bench.
