Tour de France Stage 9 Shortened by 30 km Due to Heat Alert

Following a red‑level heat warning issued for the Corrèze department, the Tour de France organizers reduced the ninth stage by 30 kilometres, setting the distance at 155. 5 km.

Riders will begin with a neutralised circuit through the streets of Brive‑la‑Gaillarde before rejoining the original route via the D921 road and linking back at Lanteuil. The start is scheduled for 13:45, and the peloton is expected to cross the finish line in Ussel at roughly 17:30.

The alteration aims to protect cyclists from extreme temperatures while preserving the race’s competitive integrity.
