The Vancouver Goldeneyes have part ways with head coach Brian Idalski following the completion of their inaugural season in the women's hockey league. Idalski, who brings decades of experience in women's hockey, was hired in June 2025 as the franchise’s first coach.
Management cited difficulties aligning the team’s performance and cultural objectives with Idalski’s approach. The departure was announced after a season‑end review meeting.
