Wichita selected as March Madness opening round host site

The NCAA mens basketball tournament March Madness is expanding to 76 teams requiring additional host locations. Wichita has been selected to join Dayton as an opening round host site.

The citys central location west of the Mississippi River made it an ideal choice for the expanded tournament format.
