Zendejas Makes World Cup Debut for USA Against Turkey

Alejandro Zendejas made his first World Cup appearance for the United States in their 2-2 draw against Turkey in Group D. The Mexican-American winger entered the match in the 75th minute after being an unused substitute in the opening two games.

Zendejas helped the US see out the final stages of a tightly contested encounter.
